As a result of the collaboration between the T.C. Post and Telegraph Organization (PTT) and the Ara Güler Museum, two commemorative stamps, one first day cover, two commemorative stamps with serial numbers and a portfolio consisting of Ara Güler’s photographs were placed into circulation by PTT on 14 March 2024.

The “Ara Güler” commemorative stamps with serial numbers may only be purchased within the limited edition stamp portfolio, “Hayalimdeki İstanbul - Ara Güler (The Istanbul I Imagine – Ara Güler)”, which will be sold at PTT locations and the Ara Güler Museum shop in Bomontiada and the Ara Güler Museum Shop, Galataport, Istanbul.

The first day postmark, “ARA GÜLER 14.03.2024 İSTANBUL”, used on the inaugural sale date of the mentioned philatelic materials was stamped at the historic PTT Beyoğlu Post Office building on Istiklal Street, just a few steps away from Ara Güler’s family apartment and long-time office located on the street now known as “Ara Güler Street”.
