The Ara Güler Museum and Dergâh Publications present a new book that brings together Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar and Ara Güler "Within the Same Dream." For those who dream of being spectators of this dream, "Within the Same Dream" tells a story of Istanbul where reality and fiction intertwine. The dream is an Istanbul dream. The concept of the exhibition at the Ara Güler Museum was defined by exploring at one end the linguistic and at the other the visual dream symbols of the two respective masters, uniting their dream into one. In "Within the Same Dream," the reader witnesses how Yahya Kemal's "Imaginary City" is transformed into a "Dream City" by Tanpınar and Ara Güler.
