This exhibition of some of Ara Güler’s best-loved photographs is taking place at the Karacasu Cultural Centre as part of the ‘1st International Aphrodisias Festival of Photography, Culture, the Arts and Tourism – in Commemoration of Ara Güler and Prof. Dr. Kenan Tevfik Erim’ (an event organised by the Provincial Governorship of Aydın in conjunction with the Karacasu Sub-Provincial Governorship). Ara Güler’s photographs of Aphrodisias are permanently on view at the ‘Commemorating Ara Güler’ Room in Geyre, the location of the ancient city.
