‘Ara Güler - Istanbul’ is the first exhibition ever to be held at the newlyopened Istanbul Airport, and is being mounted in collaboration with IGA. Turkish and foreign travellers are met on their arrival at the airport by a selection of black-and-white photographs of Istanbul – some very large in size – that were taken by Ara Güler between 1950 and 1970.
