This is the first in a series of ‘Exhibitions of Photographs by Ara Güler’, organised with the support of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. Mounted at the Saatchi Gallery in London, it consists mostly of Ara Güler’s photographs of Istanbul in the 1950s and 1960s. The exhibition also includes portrait photographs of notable figures from Türkiye, Britain and a number of other countries.
