The third in the ‘Exhibitions of Photographs by Ara Güler’ series, organised with the support of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, is being mounted at the Tofukuji Temple in Kyoto. Consisting mostly of Ara Güler’s photographs of Istanbul in the 1950s and 1960s, the exhibition also includes portrait photographs of notable figures from Türkiye, Japan and a number of other countries.
